How can i hide surround sound speaker wire?

I have a brill surround system the pionner 1016 amp with raduis 45 speakers and a radius 360 sub woffer i spent allot on this system but have had to use it without the rear speakers as I am renting the house i have no neet way of hidding the cable is their an option that will allow me to paint over the cable how ever i am worried with the likes of flat wire i have seen is that their end connections are flat

  1. or put trunking along the skirting and run the wire thru that.


  2. I would get speaker wire to match the base boards (white, brown, etc.) and use cable anchors to neatly run the wire. You can see it, but so what? If it's neatly done, it looks fine. And really, you don't notice it unless you're looking for it.

    When you move, pull the anchors and nails and fill the holes w/ spackle.

  3. Flat connections should still work fine.  I haven't had any problems.

    I just hide my wires under a large rug.

  4. Try the Richer Sounds website, I believe they still do a flat and high-quality speaker cable you can hide in plain sight.  Get your own house and lay good cable under the new floor, like I have.  ;-))

  5. get the d-line trucking its really good and even easier to fit and looks really professional when fitted, you can get corner also to make the job easier.
