  1. ok before you go down take like 4 big deep breaths then take one big one and dont plug your nose just go under then when you ahve trouble breathing just release bubbles out of your nose and youll be under longer trust me it works

  2. when i start out swimming i always do an under water swim the length of the pool so i do breathing exercizes like breathing in through my nose and let all the air out slowly through my mouth like 6 times this really expands your lungs and if u keep practicing this each time you can hold ur breath much longer

  3. leave small smaal bubbles thorugh nose or mouth . think nothing, don't count time yourself , u must not be tiried, eyes closed , think something vey nice

  4. Be careful when hyperventilating. Some cases it's leads to fainting. And you don't want to faint under water

  5. Well for shooters at practice. ( holding you breath from one side of the pool to the other) Swallowing the air in your mouth can help. Also closeing your eyes, that one scares me a little bit though. I don't recoment that one. But be careful seriously, don't hurt your self. You need those brain cells. It's not worth it.

  6. Really, the whole point is to practice. If your diving into the water, try to not blow bubbles out of your nose. Your releasing all your oxygen out into the water by blowing out of your nose. so you do not want to do that.

If your just going under water than just hold your breath as long as you can!!

    Practice

  7. practice!

  8. hydroventalate ( breath abunch of times really fast like a dog) before going under

  9. yes, by practice

  10. (trying to break a diving record?)

i know you can take several deep breaths to slow your blood rate and just go from there.

  11. after 3 minutes you get brain damage..?

  12. well set a goal and everytime make it a bit longer but u have to train your body to be able to hold your breath longer the only way is to practice

  13. Meditation.

  14. For some reason you always need gogles to stay in the wate longer.

you need to start swimming and when you swimm 80 lenths none stop you will get this sudden increase of lung compacity.

and that will make your lugns stronger and it will let you have more time to stay in the water.

some drills you can try that helps

swim free style with 9-12 strokes do about 2-8 lenths

swim best stroke with 4 kicks and 1 breath

swim butter fly 6 kick 1 arm and another 6 kicks and the other arm then

    6 kicks and both arms

and warm up by doing 2 lenght sprint free style

at the end of every drill sprint the las 1

if you need a program just goto life time!!!!! they have a pool and coaching.

but those drll do hem every day you will stay under water for about 6 min max

i can stay for 7min 42 seconds and im only 11 years old!

  15. Definitly meditation
