How can i import a video from Sony HD cam to windows movie maker?

when we import the video, an error message shows that we can't import coz d file has too many interface to fire from

Vista’s Movie Maker 6  in Home Premium & Ultimate versions support using & making HiDef files.

Check for other video editing app which support HiDef files:

That's OK because as they are in HD quality, windows movie maker can't open them, and if you would try to open the files with media player, probably, it wouldn't open them too.

If you wanna Edit mpeg2 file formats you should have more professional programs like Ulead Media Studio.

With Ulead Media Studio, you can import HD and mpeg2 file formats.
