  1. It's very simple, just practice!

Outdoor practicing for stick work is really easy, and you can get better. It all depends on how long you want to spend on it each day.

You can do Indian dribbles pretty much anywhere. Just move the ball from left to right using regular face and reverse stick. The better you get at it, the smaller your pulls can be.

Dribbling around cones or other obstacles is also good for stick work. Like I said, it all just depends on how long to spend on it.

  2. Just alot of practice with your stick work. Like do drills practice all the types of dribbles and dodges. you shopuld also workout alot to get in shape for next season. Run alot with you stick down so you get used to that kind of running in a game. And do tons on sprints. But the best thing would be to go to a camp and if you cant do that then you should just practice with a friend !

  3. Just keep on practicing. I feel you use a lot move stick work in outdoor field hockey though since you use pretty much just push passing in indoor. Get a friend who also plays field hockey and pass the ball back and fourth. Then try some dodging techniques. Have your friend try to defend the ball as you're trying to get it past her/him.
