How can i improve my crikcet skill and impress my coaches?

Question

I am 12 and opening bowler for my U13 team and bat in number 3 and once batted in number 6 but i'm not sure if i am where i should be in the batting order and my top strike rate ever was 200 i just need help increasing my number of boundries and my pace of bowling. Any tips or coaching videos?

u dont nee to it boundaries to be a good batsman my son. Look at Paul collingwood, he hits about 4 4s in his 70s and 80s, rotating the stirke is they key to a good score. Bowlers thrive on pressure, ir ur working the singles, u can release the pressure. As Geoffrey Boycott once sed "the best place to be is at the non strikers end" work on ur timing of the ball. The bad balls will come be patient work the singles and then wen that ba ball comes, just palce it dont hit it too hard.

Just keep practising. Learn from friends who are more skilled than you and just mess around until you are comfortable with your actions etc

First you have to see if bating or bowling is you best skill, but the 2 can work,it call for hand work if you are willing to put work in you will in joy bot  its a good skill.

Well practice makes the man perfect. You must try to open the inings. If you are able to then play fast attack. For increasing your bowling speed you need to be fit. Eat properly and try to increase your height.

I don't play crikcet but I remember from when I played American football, track, etc... First you have to practice, and then practice some more. Second train what ever bodyparts that you need for said sport. Third what I have found that always seemed to impress coaches,and what impresses me as a coach is when somebody comes to us and says "I want to get better, what can I do?" They will help you because when you get better so does the team.

to improve your cricket skills there's no option to practice...

put an extra hour in the nets.....

to improve you batting technique watch classics of sachin tendulkar, brianlara and rahul dravid.... the masters of batting.

to learn how to bowl good, watch glenn mcgrath, wasim akram, shaun pollock who are still the best bowlers though all hav retired from ODI cricket..

and talk about fielding, jonty rhodes is the god.the best fielders today are andrew symonds, michael clarke, herschelle gibbs , ponting and AB de villiars.

watching all the great players inspires you a lot.. so this should help you in improving you cricket.
