  1. your trying to put too much power into your swing.  try slowing the club down (dont try to kill the ball).

If you want some real good help guides I have a website with links to the guides I used and found to be very helpfull.

Take a look. these guides helped they me greatly.

  2. well im not much of a golfer but i would say that if the ball pul's left then i would angel your self a bit to ther right a little so the ball will have more of a straight cut down the center.

  3. At one time I went to school to become a pro golfer. It turned out that I was not quite good enough but I still beat up my friends on the course. So, some would be better qualified to answer then I but I will tell you what helped me.

Your question "how can i improve my golf swing where I am not pulling the ball to the left?" makes little sense. Does that mean you hit it straight or slice the ball? Are you right of left handed?

Id suggest this for a consistent shot..

    1. Your grip must be neutral and not too tight.

    2. Stay loose when  you address the ball with your knees slightly flexed and keep your arms loose and hanging straight down. NO REACHING FOR THE BALL!.

    3. Take the club back with a nice even (not jerky) tempo. Do not take a huge back swing!

    4. Hit down at thee back of the ball. Do not try to lift it the ball will come up on its own.

    5. Reach for the the target on your follow through.

    6. If done correctly your weight shall be all in your front foot when you finish. Your back foot will just be there for balance.

Its very difficult to learn to hit good golf shots without practice. Id suggest you contact a local pro and take a couple lessons. This helped me out when I was younger and turned my game completely around.

And one last thing VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Save the festivities of the 19th hole for the 19th hole.  Drinking on the golf course will not help your game!!! lol

  4. used to happen to me...

    with my driver.

my dad got me all strightened out.

    1) no "motorcycle grip"- look at your left hand. if you see 4 nuckles thats bad. try to turn your hand to the left so you see 3 nuckles at the most. (it is very uncomfortable at first... but you get used to it.)

    2) square you shoulders to your target.

    3) your left foot should be in line with the ball. and open your left foot a little to the left.

    4) FOLLOW THROUGH! that was mostly the reason i hit it to the left. keep the club head squared longer. follow through striaght to your target, dont pull the club to the left as you follow through.

*the grip and following though helped me the most*

*everything i said i was assuming you golf right handed*

good luck and hope i helped!

  5. My problem when I'm pulling the ball is that I'm swinging too hard and my right hand takes over, causing the club to turn in my swing, thus, pulling or hooking the ball.  Check out Golf Digest - They have a list of PGA Pro's in each state that will give you a Ten Minute Tune-up on your swing free of charge.
