  1. Well hmmm. Do your homework every night right when you get home. Homework is important because it helps you improve on what your doing. Then after you should talk to your friends or hang out if theres time left. If there is a test the next day, study for around 2-3 hours. I know it's hard to concentrate, but read over the material and make sure you got it. On your break time @ school, you should study again to review and make sure you got everything.

  2. just do your homework well.

not just do ur homework, do it WELL.

Just spend some time for homework and studying for tests.

the rest of the time is playing video games, etc.

    good luck!

    don't be a nerd!

  3. Study every day, take notes, get organized, get a tutor, talk to your teachers. Oh studying can be done by taking good note and reading the textbook or getting into study groups.

  4. study B4 u sleep

  5. tudor it works

  6. maybe you should:

    get a tutor.

    study group.

make a schedule so you have loads of study time and have time for friends and sports.

  7. You can get a tutor, just ask your teachers for help, ask lots of questions in class and try to learn everything they teach you then review it at night. You can also take online classes and summer school to bring your gpa up

  8. That's really good, I was just like that

but i didn't fail any classes just got D's

just apply yourself, and ask for help when

you need it. If you try your best you'll do

better. I did... Good luck to you

  9. spend time each night studing even if you dont have a test or homework. if you look over your worksheets or chapter each night eventually the information will just stick to you. and so when a test comes you will be prepared and you wont have to cram. cramming never works anyways.

  10. study hard and love your subject thats you failed ^^

  11. think about it this way. sure, it would be easier to come home and watch t.v. or hang out with friends instead of doing your homework. but in 10 years or so, where will you be? how your grades are in high school affects the rest of your life dramatically. also, you could maybe have someone remind you to do your homework.

  12. Ask your parents if you can see a tutor over the summer break.  When you're there, focus on your study habits with the material.  Next year, dedicate yourself to your homework.  That's the key to good study.  Its designed to make you focus on the material you learned that day.  The only person that can fix the issue is you.

  13. I think a tutor would help keep you on track. It would also be good to force yourself to go to the library once in a while to study, where there are no distractions (who wants to read books lol) and you'll have no choice but to study there. Also, instead of making long stressful study periods, try rereading things once a day up until the day of a test. That way you're not just memorizing it, you're learning it. It'll be a lot easier to remember something you've read 20x over a period of time than to remember something you read once last night. =) I hate studying when I don't have homework but I try to at least reread things, and trust me it works.

  14. Studying takes a lot of motivation. I know it's really boring when it's a boring subject, but then you could always try finding time ahead and studying. So, when the teacher says that there will be a test, you should try to study on that day or between the days before your test days. Try reading your books, chapters by chapters and highlighting key terms and what is important. Use flashcards if you need to help memorization or you could find more info on the subject you're studying online. Sometimes, the teacher doesn't make sense and the book doesn't have enough examples, so I always find stuff online to relate to. If you have a friend, the two of you could also study together. There are so many ways you could study, the only thing that you have to do is FORCE yourself to do it. Just think of it this way, "Work first, play later" =)

  15. Be sure to pay attention in class and take lecture notes as well as copying notes from the board. Always have a highlighter on you and highlight anything the teacher says more then once, and anything that is mentioned more then once and is in your textbook (ask the teacher if you can highlight your books first!)

Read over your notes every night (it helps you retain the information.) Also, may study-sheets and flash-cards for studying, with all the key points and questions, then ask a parent or a friend to go over them with you.

Don't be afraid to ask questions in class. If you don't know it, it's likely someone else is curious too. Don't assume someone else will ask about it.

Talk to your teacher about anything you dont understand and ask for extra help on things you are posative about.

Also, make sure you have a quite, distraction free study area. This means no music and no computer!!

Be sure to do your homework every night, and, if your teacher gives you an outline, work (or at least read) ahead so you have an idea of what will be discussed in class.

Finally, if your given an assignment, set a time-line for it, aiming to have it done 1-2 weeks in advance so you can get advise from your teacher, friends and family on it an on how to improve on it. Set a goal and follow through.

  16. You don't have to spend all or your time and sacrafice your social life to get your grades up.

The best advice i have for studying is to write or rewrite things.

If you have notes; rewrite them

this will get them stuck in your head for a while [trust me]

another one of the best things i found was to make a song to a popular tune [like old mcdonald]

If you have to memorize multiple things on one topic i would creat your own acronym.

the stranger, the better. one i always remember is the order of the planets from the sun..

    mvemsnup

mercury venus earth mars saturn neptune uranus and {no longer} pluto

  17. Do all the homework, flashcards can help, re-writing notes is good, and study in a room where you aren't watching tv, on the computer, or talking on the phone or anything distracting.

Also you can get a tutor, or ask you teachers what study habits or ways of studying would be successful for their class.

  18. I don't wanna make a huge list here, but if I know for a fact that if you are more organized, the better you will be able to find your notes and study. Don't like, study so much to the point where your social life is bad. Study until you FULLY UNDERSTAND whatever you are studying. Ask for help when you don't understand, and you can ask help by asking your friends. That's basically it. Oh, and working hard and putting initiative into your studies. This is how you can improve.
