How can i improve my reputation at school?

I'm 13 and at school I'm considered to be one of the "nerdy guys" i am getting quite annoyed with this and want to know how to improve it. I'm sporty and clever but this dosn't help. i think the main reason is that my friends are nerds but they have been good mates. What should i do

Be loud and proud! you already have friends, you don't have to improve your reputation just for other people. I am 14 and when i started high school i was considered a nerd but later on i didn't care what people were saying to me because i had already made a group of friends that could relate to me and whenever anyone calls me a nerd my friends stick up for me. If anyone calls you a nerd, that is considered a form of bullying so whenever anyone calls me a name or teases or pushes me, i turn around to face them and say 'look in a mirror and ask yourself, do you think that you are better than me and if the answer is yes than you are wrong.'

Some people in my school are smart and not considered 'nerds/geeks' or whatever. I'm in top or middle class for everything. I'm the same age asyou in 3rd year. Just think you're working and will prob get the best scores!

If you really want people to respect you then respect yourself and don’t worry about reputation. your self confidence will draw people in.

You have good friends; you should be envied by them. What is there in life other than friends and family that really matter?

On your death bed you will not say, ‘I wish I was cooler’ or “I wish I went to work more” ‘or ‘I wish I finished my degree’ . What really will matter is how you spent (or didn’t spend) your time with friends and family and how you treated other people.

The best thing you can do is realize that the grass is not greener and enjoy having good friends instead of worrying about those who aren’t your friend.

Honestly, be proud to be a nerd. life does not end in HS....that is just the annoying prison yard mentality start. You may be called a nerd today, but tomorrow you will be called their employer.

Well, I would say don't worry so much, but I know how you feel.

I would say, start joining more sports and doing less things like video games and be more social, if you aren't.

Be out-going, in class speak up, believe it or not, smart guys are cool. There's a difference between smart and nerdy.

Get a haircut. Most of the time, nerdy guys have bad hair. Google guys considered cute and pick the haircut that would suit you, or that you like best.

Cute guys include: Joe Jonas, Zac Efron (Not his emo style thought), something short.

Dress a little more casual, like, long shorts and tees.

Join some clubs and talk to people.

Don't wear cologne, a lot of girls dislike it, but do wear deodorant. All the time.

Make sure you have no facial hair, some guys have annoying little mustaches. Get rid of it.

If you have glasses, get contacts.

ehmn start talkin to other guys but dont just ditch your friends ehmn get a girl like a pretty girl ppl will give you props theres a lot of things i mean im 14 && my other school i was well known like everyone new me but i was a new student last year && i really didntt get along with much ppl like fights at skewls && blah blah && then i started tlkin to this girl whoss realated somehow to someone that im cool with in my old school && shes like popular && since we talked everyone new my name && c**p so thats my story idk ahh idk i hope i helped in someway ut you really shouldnt stress nuttin let'em come to you thats what i do

who are they to say you're cool or not? honestly they should be lucky to be your friend. and cool at 13 is like a joke.

but in order to be "cooler" make is seem like you don't give a #$% about them.  they should be grateful for you even talking to you. just blow off those "cool" kids and make it seem like you are already the most popular guy in school. make friends in every clique. don't limit yourself to the friends you have. and be the badass you are. i have no doubt you will conquer the school in no time.
