so ive been playing now consistently for a week i just started

sometimes i can get the ball over the net with CORRECT form, but other times it doesnt go over the net, and other times i break my wrist and it still goes over the net. the inconsistency is really throwing me off. how can i be more consistent? what grip should i use?

also, on the service, i can serve a service about once out of 8 times the other times it goes to far. do i have to snap my wrist?

i started this game and i used to think it sucked but now im really feelin it thanks

  1. be confident but not be intimidated by your opponet and play and play until you defeated your opponet!

  2. Get some tennis lessons from a tennis coach at your local country club.

  3. just keep practicing. if you have only been playing for a week now then you shouldnt be amazing yet. when serving at this point in your game, dont work on speed work on just getting it in the opposite square. good luck!

  4. Hey,

I suggest you check out my site below.  But otherwise, if you are serious about tennis, you need to start by using the

    semi-western grip.

Its what all competitive level players use (and pros).

  5. tennis camp duh!

  6. start hitting stow then get faster

  7. it's all about hand-eye coordination. practice hitting the ball off your racket about a foot in the air. see how many times you can do that  in a row. it's hard at first, but a so-so tennis player can hit it about 250 times in the air without stopping. eventually it gets easier. i did it 2000 straight times, it really helped my game
