How can i include a song when i am making a music video on movie maker?

like what i always watch on www.youtube.com vedios there have their own songs. i wanna know how 'coz i will make my own music video with songs

I'm not sure, but without it, you won't have much of a music video.

Step 1. Capture/Import video files to be edited as project

Step 2*. Edit- drag/drop files->timeline; enhance project w/effects, transition, filters, music & titles

Step 3. Finish (render) Movie- save file or

Step 4. Share-burn to DvD or CD

*Details on step 2)  on the wmmaker timeline...

>>>each video file dragged/dropped  to timeline always has a corresponding Audio Track.

>>>background MUSIC is dragged/dropped to Audio/Music Track.

a. Right click on the corresponding AUDIO of the video file in the timeline and mute or adjust the volume as you wish.

b. Recommend to click fade in & out to lessen the burden on the ears during transition from one file to another.

c. On the MUSIC file in the timeline, also do similarly as above.

Note:

....a limitation though.. the volume of the whole file as adjusted is unifrorm throughout the lenght of the file... can't vary the volume at any portion of a given file.
