How can i increase members in my orkut community????

i hv a community which provides latest n most popular english songs........

how can i make ppl notice ma community...i know lotz of dem will join it.....so how cn i get it in their notice????????...jus want increase its members somehow.....

If you have the time post daily updates, people scanning like to read what is going on. Provide links from the music section and seeking friends..target the Brazilian market since as of this month Orkut will be managed and operated there.

"Originally hosted in California, on August 2008 Google announced that orkut will be fully managed and operated in Brazil, by Google Brazil".

Maybe you could list a different song each day dedicated to someone special, or ask for a poll (did you like this song?)what is your favorite?

One way may be to offer to be "friends" with people you see on Orkut with similar interests and to participate in any similar groups so they get to know your name.   Another way is to invite ppl you know who are intersted in English popular music to join Orkut and participate in your group.   I am pretty new to Orkut but it seems like the groups that  build members well are the ones where the group owner is active and posts interesting topics and keeps ppl from going off on each other/  Try to post something and get at least one Orkut friend to post something every week at minimum.I saw some groups I thought would be interesting but hey the most recent post in one was 2004 and in another 2007.  So I joined one that was not as good a match but is at least alive.
