Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for a year now. I went to the doctor and they have put me on prenatal vitamins. We still haven't had any luck. We have a 2 year old little girl. It wasn't hard the first time. Can anyone give me some advise? Please i'm getting disappointed.

  1. Here are my suggestions:  Do not have s*x every single day.  Do not use any type of lubrication except for PreSeed or PreConception.  Do not take an antihistamine (benadryl) because that can dry you out and make your cervical mucus too dry to carry sperm.  Try to figure out when you are ovulating using home ovulation predictor kits.  Talk to your doctor about possible insulin resistance or PCOS.  Good luck!

  2. Baby #2 was finally conceived with the help of maya abdominal massage. It's a type of massage that WILL enhance your fertility! I tried for 18months for #2 with no success until then. I got pregnant within one month of using it! Please check it out.

  3. .hi, I don't know your ages but typically if you have been having unprotected s*x for one year with no luck there could be a problem. a simple blood test at your dr.s office to check your hormone levels and additional things like thyriod testing will tell the dr. alot.Of course there are no hard and fast rules.I tried everything short of invitro for 15 years and when i stopped proactivley trying guess what I got pregnant more amazingly i didn't actually go crazy!of course thats pritty unusual. you can try ovulation predictor kits sold at drug stores, or a little less high tech is a basil body termometer, just use for a few months to issolate when you typically ovulate

  4. You may be dealing with something called secondary infertility. I strongly suggest you talk to an infertility specialist who can help determine why you and your husband are having difficulties and come up with a plan to try and resolve the problem. A lot of ob/gyns will only throw a drug, like Clomid, at the problem without bothering to do an tests beforehand to determine what the problem is (and whether a drug like Clomid will actually help).

If you're into it, you could also try Traditional Chinese Medicine. A good book on using TCM to help with TTC is "THe Infertility Cure" by Randine Lewis.

    Good luck!

  6. drink lots of water, stop smoking, tell your partner to stop smoking, use preseed, that stuff the last poster mentioned, or egg whites, oh and don't have oral s*x, because the bacteria can hurt the sperms (so no spit for lubrication, sorry), after ejaculation lie on back with bottom half elevated and pretend to bycicle peddle (stay on back for at least a half hour). hope this helps...

  7. I went through the same thing and came to the conclusion that when you want something the most you wont get it. Maybe when you are with your husband you are just thinking 'oh i need to get pregnant' and are stressing yourself. It might sound crazy but it could all be psychological.

Relax and don't be hard on yourself about it.
