  1. your only option is to pay fpr a faster service

I am on the 20Meg service and my up is about 90K

you are getting confused with your bits and bytes

on 2 meg  service your up is > 30kB but only if you are not downloading

On 10 meg you up as  > 45kB with the same proviso as above

On 20 meg service your up is > 90kB but ____(same as above)

also be aware of the traffic management virgin are doing

you are on a 2 megabit service

with an up of 250 Kilobits

Which is in Kilobyte about 250 kB (note the big b)

and an up of 25 kB

1 megabit = 106 = 1,000,000 bits which is equal to 125,000 bytes. In kilobytes this is either 125 kB (decimal meaning) or about 122 kB (122 KiB)

  2. I would call and complain.  Those numbers are terrible!
