How can i increase my vertical jump?

i need so increase my jump by like 2 inches to be on the higher team... i need to in like 3 weeks..any good exercises?

  1. Do squats with not a lot of weight but about 20 reps and do them fast. Do about 3 or 4 sets. There are a lot of other exercises that are hard to describe so i suggest you just google "increase vertical jump" and see what comes up


  2. My jump got increased whan I did bleacher jumps. Which are you go to a bleacher (which is at your school gym or you can get a platform the size of the bleacher) and jump about 35 times and it will increase you jump a LOT!!!

  3. Above all, JUMP ROPE!  Also, bleacher jumps and approaches in front of the basketball goal.  Each time, aim for the rim.  That always helps.  

    If you haven't been weight training all along, I'm skeptical in the wisdom in introducing it mid-season, but if you do, be sure to do several approaches and hitting drills so that your timing will not be negatively affected by the weights.
