Have your Blog set to the Feed,snd it will show up on your friends home page. Visit other people's page and leave comments. Then have different Blog entries that will be interesting to different people. If the title sounds interesting, most people will check your Blog out.

As Star Dust has suggested post an interesting topic. You can also join groups and visit the pages of those in the group. Sometimes the groups will have certain topics that everyone will blog on and that peaks the interest to visit all the pages that are participating.  

For example:  Picture Perfect...each participant post a picture depicting the word for that day i.e. Water, red, etc. It's rather interesting to see the creativity and the perspective of how others look at different things.

Another example would be to post a question that can provoke the sharing of thoughts. Another topic would be some personal insight you have gained through your own experience that might touch someone else going through a similar experience.
