  1. There are several jump training programs available. There's one I've used that helped me a lot but like any jump training program you have to be careful not to over exert yourself and make sure you are doing the exercises correctly so as not to injure yourself.  You also want to be working out in the gym to help strengthen your body while training and playing ball.

    The one I used (I forget the name) involved deep high humps and low fast jumps together with lunges and step-ups. It started with a relatively low number of reps and gradually built it up over the weeks of the program.

  6. Practice,practice,and more practice. Have someone toss the ball (fast) towards an area that is just out of your reach when your in the "dig" position...over and over again.

    Work your leg muscles , especially your calves, even when your watching tv by flexing your feet up and down.

    Pull your shoulder blades "together" to flex and keep your shoulders fit enough to serve.

    Stand beside a building and serve the ball (overhand) full speed-when it comes at you "bump" it and then practice "tipping it" and when it comes down the last time- "spike it"...you can do this by yourself and 90 % of the time you won't be able to do it all BUT it helps condition each muscle.

    You also should stand in the ready position and continue bumping it up toward a certain target such as a tree limb.

  7. If i were you i would practice and ask a gym teacher to help you, cuz at the begining of volleyball season this year i wasn't very good but i just kept on practicing and got lots of help, and then i made the team.

  9. Play volleyball.  Duh.  Go practice everyday and in 3 months, you will be pretty good.

  10. First of all, practice.  they say practice makes perfect. I don't believe that nobody's perfect but you can reach your potential.  Go to vball camp and workout.  get a group of friend and workout and practice. As your gym teachers what you should work on and go from there.

  11. Take a volleyball course at a community college or sign up for a volleyball camp.

  13. go to some camps to learn.ask someone you know that plays volleyball to help you.do little drills at home pass and set against the wall.practice your approach to hit.
