  1. It's probably too late. Breeders keep on hand incubators and brooders in case something like this happens.

I have kept birds for over 40 years. Before you attempt to breed them you really need to study them.I suggest you get books and investigate websites like http://www.birdtalkmagazine.com

    and http://www.birdbreeders.com

You hen may have been egg-bound.She may have had a virus or infection. If you have the male cockatiel, you may want to bring him to a vet to make sure he is healthy.

  2. Wish you would have ask for help Before allowing these birds

    to mate and breed.

Egg's must be kept at a controlled temperature and humidity and turned in order to hatch live chicks.

For this you need to have the knowledge and a incubator for birds.

Also you need to know why the hen died.

Did she have three egg's and only two passed, or did one egg break inside of her and kill her, or was she sick with a disease that may kill the chicks?

Please, learn all there is to know and there is MUCH to know, Before pairing birds and setting them up to breed.

  3. That's how my Granny used to hatch chicken eggs.

  4. I'm not sure, But it isn't too late because when i had parakeet eggs i kept them under a lamp and they hatched!I just wanted you to know that it isn't too late, and itnever hurts  to at least try. I'm sorry for your lost and I'm praying the little ones make it!
