How can i install a car stereo in my cutlass cierra without a wiring harness? ive tried everything, any help??

i've bought the harness that was said to be for my car, and it did not match up, then i cut the wires and tried to directly connect them, and that did not work either. .Any help here?

Take it to a car audio centre and have them do it

You need a power wire(b+)a ground wire(b-) an ignition switched power wire(b+  only with the key on) and your speaker wires.The ground is almost always black, and usually bigger than the others, the b+ is usally red(sometimes striped) and is usually close to the same size as your ground.The speaker wires are usually in pairs.(green with white stripe/ green with black stripe; blue with white/blue with black, and so on). This will hpoefully turn you in the right direction. Be sure all of your fuses and connections are good.
