How can i install/connnect a telephone line on jack/phone ?

i'd like to change my old phone/dial phone(fixed on the wall) to a new one/touch phone, but i don't have idea how to start it. i'd prefer DIY myself for this job.

If you remove the phone from the wall there is a phone line socket. Take to apart and then take the wires and cut a hole in the wall here you want the line to be and then pull the line there and put the phone socket thingy back onto the wall in that place...
