How can i install my new dvd/disc drive!?

i bought an hp cd burner for my ibm computer but it doesnt seem to work my computer is small so I can only put a disc drive at a time is there any way i can install my new disk drive? the problem is i only can place a disk drive on the computer HELP ME PLEASE I WILL GIVE YOU MY BEST ANSWER IF U HELP!

Is it an external cd burner or an internal? thats the question..

If it is internal, you have to open your computer up, and/or remove the front panel to unplug and slide the first drive out. and then slide in plugin and reinstall the front plate. That should be all it will take. just make sure your comp is off.
