How can i keep bagels fresh longer?

is there any way to keep bagels fresh/soft for a long time?

Refridgerator them and they will keep for another week in a half to two weeks

Freeze them.  I'd double wrap them too.  Breads freeze great, thaw quickly, and are very fresh like just bought.......

You could freeze them.

Then defrost in singles.

You can't really keep bread soft for longer than the sell by date,

but freezing them will definitely keep them fresh.

Refrigerating the bagels helps keep them fresher.... : )

I put them in a zip-lock baggie, then into a tupperware container.  They'll stay fresh on the counter for a couple of days (unless it's hot & humid in your kitchen).  You can refrigerate them though; and just zap in the microwave for about 10 sec. to soften them up

The refrigerator does NOT keep bagels (or any other bread product) from staling - wrap bagels individually and freeze them.  Thaw as needed.

they are always best the day they are baked but you could wrap tightly and freeze and then take out only what you want for that meal or for that day.  allow to thaw at room temp for about an hour, covered with plastic so it stays soft.
