How can i keep from being a science experiment?

i've become a mermaid, and i swim EVERYDAY twice a day @ camp. i've started camp, and became a mermaid in the middle of the summer. since i swim everyday and twice a day @ camp, and i'm a mermaid when i touch water, people will know i'm a mermaid!! how can i keep myself from being a science experiment?!?!?
