How can i keep my cat from fighting?

She thinks she owns the neighborhood, always starting fights with other cats and killing off the rabbit and squirrel population. Besides making her a complete in-door cat, can I do anything? she is spayed, registered with the town, really good with people, cuddly, never aggressive (with humans anyway).

  1. Nice cat...killing defenseless rabbits. Cars are vermin. Get rid of it. Problem solved.

  2. Do you have room in your house for a cat run outside? that way they get the fun of being out doors without hurting the other wild life.

  3. Cats are aggressive by nature, they hunt and fight because it is genetic.

  4. shes just being a cat, let her be. There is nothing wrong with hunting and marking our territory, its instinct. Its like asking you not to go out with your mates and work.

  5. Keep her on your lap all day, or find a catsitter

  6. I don't know how to make her stop fighting against other cats, but for rabbits, squirrels, and birds you can get her a little bell, which will make her unable to sneak up on them.

Keep in mind that unlike humans cat *are* natural predators.

  7. Have you tried a collar with a bell? This would at least help with the rabbit/squirrel issue.
