  1. one good smack with a wad of paper

they will never do it again.

    trust me.

i kno it sounds cruel but it works.........

I LOVE MY KITTY TO DEATH

  2. Will you ever know for sure that your cat isn't on the furniture when you aren't at home?

Cats pretty much do what they want, don't they?

  3. you can spray your cat with ice cold water and he'll jump right off. after a while he'll just stay off because he'll asotiate ice cold water with being on the couch and he will not like that. Thats what i did and my cat doesn't jump on my couch lazy boy or my love seat.

  4. poor kitty

  5. put fish where u waNT the cat to go

    plz rate best anwser

  6. If you have a cat you have to expect it to climb and explore because it's part of their nature.  Ever since I was a little girl, I have had dogs and cats and my parents treated them like they were part of the family.  I think it's ignorant to expect your cat to realize that they can't be on certain furniture in your home.  I know people will disagree with this, but animals are animals and they are here for us to love and people should not expect them to understand human logic.  My cat goes and does whatever she pleases in my house because I feel priviledged to have her as a companion and member of the family.

  7. You should buy a water gun and spray them with it because thats how i get my cats to get off my furniture.

  8. Like Jack L said, water works terrifically. I would not suggest smacking your cat with a wad of paper, however.. :/ If the water doesn't work, you can try aluminum foil for the flat surfaces such as tables and kitchen counters. Cats hate the feel of the thin metal on their paws and will eventually learn not to jump onto them. Once your cat has refrained from getting on the furniture anymore, you can remove the foil. Good luck!

  9. I know that they sell this stuff in pet stores that you can spray that is supposed to keep the cats away, however I am not sure if it works or not.  Good Luck!
