  1. get a baby block get the one that you step down and push up to be able to get through need to be like a certain weight to get through just block him out of the kitchen in general.

  2. you should try getting the baby locks or grips you can buy them at any baby store

  3. How about you watch your kid like you're supposed to be doing?

  4. How old is he? Is there a reason why he can't get a snack on his own? Maybe assign a shelf with foods for him, then he can get it on his own.

  5. Babies R Us has like 4 different ones you can check out.

  6. Put a gate up that keeps him out of the kitchen. That was the only thing that stopped my daughter. And ignore the ignorant a--hole remark left by the first person who posted on here.

  7. You can get white plastic strips that stick on your fridge door and the other one sticks on the side of the fridge, they are great from the warehouse, farmers and k mart.

  8. Try using bungie cords, It's the only thing that kept my kids out of the fridge and freezer. Just wrap the bungie cord around til it's tight enough for your child not to be able to pull it apart to unlock it.

  9. Clearly, you need to determine a better punishment system than what you are using.  Pretty soon you will be dealing with a child who reaches up on the stove.

  10. Can you put a baby gate up to keep him out of the kitchen?  I don't let my kids into the kitchen unless it's mealtime because they empty the cabinets, pull all the food out of the fridge and get under me when I'm cooking and I'm afraid of one of them getting burned.  Years ago I was cooking and accidentally dripped hot oil on my dog (she was fine, just a small burn) when she bumped me and I can't stand the thought of something like that happening to one of my kids.  Sometimes you have to restrict access to certain rooms until they're old enough to keep from getting hurt or destroying the room.

  11. hmmm, as odd as this sounds I've never used fridge locks, door locks, toilet locks etc.  I have not ever put up any breakable "pretties" either.  My children, both boys, have just learned that NO, means no.  In their combined 12 years, they have broken 1 Precious Moments item that I simply glued back together.  They have never plugged up the toilet either.

Both when babies, were very exploratory.  I merely played with them, and knew what they were getting into and what they were not getting into.  So, I'm inclined to agree with some of the responses, especially if you're little has figured out how to undo locks, it's time to teach him No, and be consistent with him.

  12. They sell child proof refrigerator locks that are very easy to install and very hard for your toddler to open.  Works for me.  They get frustrated the first or second time they try to open it and then they just give up or forget about it.  Good Luck

  13. Wal-Mart, lol. They have like 4 different kinds. I feel for you I just went thtough that! Best Wishes
