How can i keep my email address private and not to show it to my group?

Even when you select to hide your email address at a group, you (and only you) will still see it.  The groups still display the email address for yourself.

are you a group owner or member? either way, that option of hiding e-mail address is a group setting option (non reversible one too) and to locate it if you're a member, top of group page Edit Membership- it's Email Address Display. this option also makes it so you cant post from e-mail, you can only post off the group page.

if you're an owner, this is under group settings- membership and if you choose this, you loose the poll feature due to the polls reflect voting to e-mail ID.

*** on the group, in the members list or while posting and reading archives, you will not see your own address if allowed to hide it. all you will see is the Yahoo ID. hiding your e-mail address wipes it out, the owner wont see it nor with the user.
