Ok. I wake up every morning on weekdays and straiten my hair before school. But since its August its so humid and i have to be outside to wait for my bus. Then when i get to school and look in the mirror my hair gets frizzy. (my hair is naturally wavy i have to straiten it)

1. I always were bio-silk therapy. Doesn't seem to help.

2. i heard olive oil helps. if so how much? and how do i apply it?

3. i don't want to go buy anything.

Help would be great! asap!

  1. well if you straighten your hair, and its hot with humidity,

    its going to frizz.

maybe you need to look for different drugstore brands for your

    frizziness. http://makeupalley.com

    and search some products up.

it definetly helps with reviews, and when you find your right formula, you can bring some in a

small bottle to school to fix it up in the middle of the day or

    when you get home.

  2. My mom saw your question & said "don't wash your hair. the grease will keep it flat" lol! okay but sereously, you need to go buy stuff for it.

  3. I straighten my naturally curly hair about half the time.  I live in Louisiana and it feels like a sauna most days.  (HOT & HUUUUMID!)  I found a trick recently that has really helped.  I straighten my hair with a boar bristle brush and ceramic hair dryer.  The main key is to set in the style with a little cool air from your dryer before moving on to the next section of hair to be straightened.  The cool air sets your follicle and helps eliminate the frizz.  Here are a couple of other tricks I have found on my own:  1) carry a small bottle of some Biosilk Therapy in your bag to retouch during the day instead of putting on too much in the morning.

    2) I realize you don't want to buy anything but instead of replacing your Biosilk next time, go to sally beauty supply.  There is a generic product called "The Skinny" that works MIRACLES!  I had always used Biosilk and bought the generic product when I was too far from payday to spent $40 on hair products.  It works 10 times better and is less than $8 for a big bottle!  Woooo Whoooo!  Hope this helps!

    3) I found a really helpful web site for curly hair.  check out the tips based on your own hair type:  http://www.naturallycurly.com/
