How can i keep my hair striaght?

Question

Okay so i have REALLY wavy hair. but when i straighten it it stays straight for an hour then it is half straight and half curly how can i keep it straight? i have 2 things i use in my hair before and after i straighten it. is their some cheap things that i can put in it cause the one makes my hair REALLY greasy.

When you get out of the shower, put a heat activated hair cream in your hair so it protects it from heat damage - (put it in when your hair is damp/wet.) Then get a barrel brush, and one of those flat add-ons that you put onto the end of your hair dryer. Take the barrel brush underneath your hair and spin it away from you, while drying it with the hair dryer *down*. After, you can straighten it if you need to. To keep it that way though, you should try this Herbal Essence hairspray product that you spray after straightening, and it should hold it.

well my hair is exactly the same way. to keep it really straigh i use paul mitchel str8 (lotion?) im not sure but its called straight. the aquage products work pretty well, but i prefer those for curly styles. you also need a fairly good straightener for the best results, i reccommend you dry your hair first because straightening it wet can cause extra frizz.

Why dont you use a product before you straighten it, like a styling gel or something?

If you can try and get some straighteners suitable for wavy hair.

If not try getting some shampoo and conditioner that helps keeping straight hair. I Avon's and its really good. Also i use the Schwarzkopf pro styling range its awesome and does wonders for your hair. If your still stuck you could go see a hairdresser.
