How can i keep my house cool cause i have no a/c or fan?

My house is really to HOT to stand. I just want to cool down. Is there something i can do or put over my windows? Please help!!

In Phoenix before people had a/c, they used to soak sheets in water, squeeze them out, and hang them across open windows like curtains.  It's not as good as a fan, but it helped them sleep at night.

Close your curtains on the sunny side of your house, open your window for cross ventilation, use fans in strategic place's to push the air. Good Luck!

Would be best to buy an air conditioner or at least a box fan to put in the window,  You can put aluminum foil over the windows cheaply, this will block out the sun, and will slightly lower the temp in the house.  A better solution would be a window shade or honeycomb shade, they are excellent window insulators.

If you don't want to invest in an A/C or a fan, you'll have to cough up a couple thousand dollars for solar panels.  These can be put inside of your roof and needs to be installed by professionals.
