Question:

How can i keep myself from laughting when someones hurt or at a bad time?

i honestly cant keep myself from laughing at bad times, like when someone trips or something. im not mean it just happens even when i dont want to think its funny.....is there any kind of way or technique to keep myself from bursting out in laughter?

  1. It's from watching funniest videos.. Which is a big misnomer, because watching people get hurt is not funny.  slip and fall on your crotch and see if you laugh..  maybe you need to go to a hospital and visit the sick and injured people to realize it's not funny.

I have the same thing and I try to think of something that actually makes me really sad.  But sometimes you forget or you can't help it - so I always explain "I'm so sorry, of course I'm worried about if you're okay but I just get this horrible nervous laughter", and most people are fine with it.

  4. think of something really sad or depressing...i swear it works!

  5. I have the same problem! It's so bad. Even at funerals I have nervous awkward laughter, I always just quickly pretend I'm on the phone talking to someone and am laughing at what they are saying which is completely un related.

    Or else I pinch myself really hard.
