How can i keep myself occupied on plane journey?

I'm really bad with flying and i need stuff to do while travelling to take my mind off it

ideas?!

I always read. What I do it get about halfway through a good book and then save the rest for the airplane. That way when I fly I'm so eager to find out what happens next in the book that I usually forget about all my "flying anxieties" Just remember, it's statistically proven that flying is safer than driving.

Take some books along.  That's what I always do.  Take along some paper and pen and write letters to people.  Even if you don't mail them you'll still be doing something and concentrating on something.  I don't have a laptop computer so those are the activities that I do when I fly.  You could also take along some crossword puzzle books or sudoku books.  Safe journey!

take some crossword puzzles, that always keeps me occupied. Also, they allow you to bring aboard portable dvd and cd players; you can watch movies or listen to music.

Yah I read, too. Also, If you like movies, I suggest buying a Video Ipod, and loading movies on that. I did it for my trip to Hawaii ( 5 hour flight), and was so into the movies, that I didn't know the time had gone by so fast. Another idea is to listen to music.

If you have trouble with landing and taking off(your ears need popping), try EarPlanes. They are little pieces of plasticrubberystuff that go into your ear, and stop the pain. I don't know how it works, but before my ear pain was sooo bad, and now I barely even feel it.

I fly NWA a lot. I have a world perks elite account (100908261974) so i get upgraded to first a lot, it makes the flight so much shorter. If you are flying on NWA upgrade or use a world perks elite account (if you have one) or use mine I don't care i never use it and you might get luckly and get upgraded due to open seats.
