  1. Tea Tree oil is very good. Although cats generally don't like water if you make a warm bath in a tub or sink and put in a cap full of tea tree oil, bathe the cats in it. Be careful they don't scratch you.

Just be sure to thoroughly dry them so they don't get cold.

It works for me. Hope this helps......

  2. Use a shampoo treatment (both cats at the same time) Whilst doing this, get rentokil to come in your house and spray with insect killer. Pay particular notice to carpeting, where fleas survive longer. It should do the trick, and keep your cats away from strays as much as possible. Attach flea collars also....If you still have problems later, then I suggest you remove all carpeting in house and go for hard floors, with occasional loose mats.

  3. flea killer from supermarkets. or better, drown the fleas.

  4. Just keep putting frontline on your cats like twice every 2 weeks they should go

  5. You can buy Capstar and Frontline Plus at drsfostersmith.com . The Capstar will kill all the fleas on your cat almost instantly and the frontline will prevent re-infestation. Use the Capstar right away. It will kill all fleas on your cat with in an hour. It is imperative that you do not skip this. Frontline (or advantage, revolution, promeris, etc.) is only effective if the flea bites the cat. Fleas have a 3 week lifespan and only feed for a few days of those three weeks, so you must use Capstar to kill all live fleas on your cat. After you Capstar add on the Frontline Plus and it will keep fleas off your cat for 30 days. Any eggs that hatch will be killed when they feed by the Frontline. Refrontline every 30 days. No vet visit required and totally safe.

Frontline contains fipronil, which spreads via the body oils killing fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Ticks are generally killed before they bite, decreasing the risk of tick-borne disease transmission. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

Frontline Plus also contains (S)-methoprene, an Insect Growth Regulator, which prevents an insect from maturing or reproducing. Approved for use on kittens 8 weeks and older.

You can use FRONTLINE flea and tick control once a month and it's completely waterproof. Provide your cat with the best flea and tick protection, right from the start.

Capstar - Treats flea infestations on pets. Starts killing adult fleas on the pet within 30 minutes. One dose lasts 24 hours. Use when pets are likely to be exposed to fleas. Also may be used prior to surgery, boarding, or grooming. Active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with the normal nerve transmission of insects, effectively killing them. Not a preventive. For pets over four (4) weeks of age. Package of 6.

  6. Put down some flea powder maybe that will help good luck

  7. You can use many different things

    Powder

    Medicane

But i would say to use frontline it works a treat

If it doesnt see your vet he will give you something

You will have to pay but it will get rid of them!

  8. you're supposed to apply frontline everyday!!!!! not every month and also mix it with water and spray it around your house this will help!!!!

    same thing with my dog!!!!!

  9. If you got the prescription (frontilne) from the vet, call the vet because one of the employees at the vet or the employee making the frontline did a fault

  10. Keep your cats inside if they go out for about 2 weeks or less

Buy them both flea collars because the fleas will repel from them

And also get a flea bomb

  11. if the products you are usign are not effective then you should go to the vets, it must be very very uncomfortable for your cats, and for you!!  I know how frustrating it is though with those pesky fleas!!

I hope you get rid of them soon!

  12. If you have an infestation this bad then the issue is that eggs are hatching from the flea from before they died from the insecticide. I didn't get rid of fleas til I treated the part of the house that didn't have carpet or fabric also as I could see they were crawling there for recovery. Sorry I know that's gross! I used an insecticide spray repeatedly for two weeks until they were gone to make sure hatching fleas were killed too. If you have a lawn you may need to treat this too.

  13. go around with a magnifying glass and a knife...

  14. its disgusting to have fleas round the house, but if u can try a flea collar, u can gt them in tesco and pet shops.

    hope this helped from bubbles

  15. Give them a bath in Dawn dish washing soap. This will kill the fleas. Give them a bath in dawn about two time, then while they're still wet take a flea comb and brush the remaining fleas off. After that, dry them off real well.

    Good luck!

  16. Cap star it only works for 24 hour but kills them instantly after they are all dead thin put frontline on them.

  17. If you have any soft surfaces in your home (which you almost positively do), they're probably living in them. Fleas get into the carpet, bedding, couches, etc. In order to really get rid of the fleas you will need to bomb the place for it to be most effective. The powder with vacuuming will only help so much, this will kill anything in the apartment. You will just need a place to take the cats for a few hours and be able to either remove or tape in all of your dishes, food, we'd also do our clothes, etc.

  18. My dog had a bad flea problem when we first got her wash them with dish soap everyday 2X if it's bad till they go away. also wash all you bedding material as the fleas will jump to you for awhile. (they need a new host) Then clean your house once you see them diminishing. Once there gone you should never have the problem again hope this helps.

  19. get flea bombs, get better flea medicine, go to your vet, the stuff i get for my cat is good and she is an indoor cat. it costs like $50 every four months but its worth it.

you use flea shampoo on your cats, call an exterminator

  20. wow im really sorry about the flea problem.  i recommend taking them to the vet and the vet might give you a stronger medicine to kill off the fleas.  good luck!

  21. Frontline once a month not once a day..you'll kill your pet doing that!!!!

    d**n the pesky fleas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me about it.....I had this problem a few months back..this is what me and my partner had to do...( i have one cat)Brush the fleas off the cat with a flea comb into a bowl of water with washing up liquid in ( they die straight away) and tip down the sink with lots of water afterwards.

Treat the cat with flea drops on the back of the neck (advocate from the vets £19.29 3 months worth..1 a month)..next day..

Flea bomb the whole house (turn smoke alarms off) we had to buy 2 bombs for downstairs and 2 up, we did that twice ..make sure all pets are out for at least 2 hours then a good half hour to air out !!!

After flea bombing wash everything that's out/going to get covered in the flea bomb stuff -bedding,dressing gowns, cats bedding, clothes that are in wardrobes if cats go in there towels

etc all at 60 degrees and then tumble dry it all (absolute nightmare i know!!!) should have seen the piles i washing we had to do!!!!

Vacuum up everywhere even taking sofa cushions off and vaccing down the sofa/even throws and cushion covers...empty the vac outside/get rid of vac bag and tie it up.We did this about 2 weekends in a row and touch wood, the ones that went on her (only about 5) died so pet medication did work :D Now happy to say flea free !!!!

We also got some flea spray from the vets called indorex..that is good about £15 though

Has cost us a fortune :@

Don't buy flea collars..some are very dangerous/don't work - best bet is to save your money and get vet prescibed stuff.

    Hope this helps you :D

BTW people who have fleas are not dirty they can be brought in from outside on your shoes/other peoples pets..know your facts !!!

  22. The best revenge is living well

  23. Where are you getting your Frontline from?

  24. softly with your songs.

  25. My daughters cat somehow got fleas this year, even after making sure she was up with her flea regime.  I went to the vets and had a chat with them, they gave me some spray for her house (which was very very good), I did it while my daughter was at work and the cat was outside so that no one (apart from dear old mum who got stuck doing it!) breathed in the fumes, It came in a huge white tin, ask your vet for it.

I then frontlined the cat again.  Sometimes with cats, especially long haired as my daughters is, the solution can stay on the fur rather than getting beneath it, where I am led to believe you put it.  I guess from speaking to the vet this is what happened, either that or the cat got caught in the rain and it got diluted.

Anyway, after that, my daughters problem was solved - no more fleas!

Make sure you get your frontline from a reputable vet/store.  Many are selling and they are fakes, therefore do not do the job.  It may be cheap, but it is not frontline (not saying you do, but just in case, we all like a bargain!)

    Good luck.

    :)

  26. get the to vet and tell them your frontline is not working and maybe they will give u a different kind of frontline.
