  1. Some of us are just born with more hair...or it can be caused by anorexia, but since you have your periods always, that's probably not your problem.

Your best bet is to talk to a doctor, there are things he can do about your  painful periods.  one option is to use birth control pills, which control certain hormones in your body and can help some women immensely with the mentrual pains.  another option is to get some pain meds to use during your periods, my mom and sister both did this.

I can't offer much about the hair, its probably there for good, and if its due to hormones, i believe it would be testosterone which isn't affected by birth control pills.  yes, even women have a little testosterone running through our body.  But you could also mention this concern to a doctor and he would have a better answer.

  2. Excess body and face hair can be a sign of to much testosterone but it could be heredity as well.  You might notice your voice deepening as well.

You can always go get a blood test to check your hormone levels.  However you should also get a pap test and talk to your doctor to make sure everything is okay.

  3. Your GP would be the best person to advise you on this. There is a new cream available for this kind of problem and it is very effective if my memory serves me correctly it is called vaniqa

  4. Some people are genetically predispositioned to have more body/facial hair.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome also can cause an increase in testosterone which will lead to hair growth. You almost always have irregular periods though.

Check with your OB/GYN. She can probably do a level of all your hormones to see where you are at.

  5. So many of us believe that fatigue, weight gain, loss of libido and other problems are just symptoms we must learn to live with.  What if these symptoms are not the result of stress, diet, or aging, but are actually caused by a hormonal disorder?   Symptoms of hormone deficiency or excess may be subtle and difficult to diagnose.  Many hormonal problems are misdiagnosed as depression, especially in women.

  6. Depending on your age, could have several problems, possibly Polycystic Ovary disease, or endometriosis. Endometriosis doesn't usually cause excess hair but PCOD does.
