How can i know if my cat wants to go t the bathroom (plz answer)

my new cat from my aunt has come and he wont go to the bathroom he only went once and its been three days and its a kitten and that time when he went he meowed like crazy and when i brang him to the litter box he jumped off my shoulder to the litter box and pooped but that was right when he came now he hasnt gone to the bathroom since then

well if it hasnt gone anywhere else around ur house then u should take it to the vet

I think they need to go once a day, is he eating and drinking enough? Maybe he is sneaking under the bed and doing it, my very first indoor kitty did that for a while..

Don't worry, he's going potty *somewhere*!

Whenever I get a new cat, it and the litter box live in our bathroom for a week or so. The family takes turns visiting him there so he's not lonely and he gets used to being handled. He learns to use the litter box and there's nowhere for him to run and hide. Letting him hang out under the bed will just result in a wild kitten who doesn't use the litter box.

Most likely he has been going to the bathroom. You just haven't found out where yet. Keep looking around your house every now and again and see if you can find anything.

To know if a cat has to go to the washroom, watch their body language.

If you don't find anything and nothings happened within about two more days, take him to the vet to find out what is going on. Just in case there is something.
