How can i know info about the other player on full tilt ?

  1. You can find out a bit by leaving your mouse over the other player's seat. This doesn't tell you anything special, but it can still  be useful in some cases.

    But there are Web sites out there that let you search a player's user name in their databases and find out how well that player is doing. That's how I find out which tables and tourneys have the most fish playing.

    The site that I use is not free, though. Shark Scope is good for a few free searches per day, so either pay for the membership or be okay with just the few searches that you do get.

    But, none of this information is any good to you if you aren't a fairly skilled player. You can know exactly how much I've won and lost, how many tourneys I've played, whether I'm +/- EV...but still give me all of your chips if I'm playing my best.

    Having the information is great whether you're looking for fish or trying to avoid the other sharks. But if you can't play the game well enough to collect the chips, well, it's a waste of time searching for the information in the first place.
