  1. I saw on Jon & Late plus 8 once, Kate out shredded carrots and celery into her meatloaf. But you could do that for burgers too if you wanted. Add peas to your mac&cheese (he he, it rhymes, so cool!) Put shredded carrots in fruit smoothies. So basically, "hide" it in your food. It's there, you'll get the nutrition, you just won't taste it. Stir fry is also a good way to go. It's not fresh, but still has some nutrition and would be good with some of these other suggestions. I'm assuming you've tried dipping carrots in ranch, but if not, thats something to try too. And if this you can't even stand, see a doctor. He or she might have professional alternatives. Who know, maybe you're, like, allergic to veggies or something? Another thing to try is V8 V-fusion. I devour this stuff in literally 2 days. It tastes exactly like fruit juice. But it has 1 serving of fruit AND 1 serving of veggies in every 8oz. I reccomend the Acai flavor. (i think thats how you spell it.)  This should help, its how I get most of my veggies! =)

  2. Just get rid of meat portion from your plate, and eat more portion of veggies. It should be very natural and healthier to do so. Eventually shop more varieties of veggies & fruits. When you have "nothing else" to eat, only veggies and fruits become "food for life". Amazingly, there is nothing you could waste in your dining plate.

  3. Eat fruit! It is almost the same thing, you have to have a variety though, fruits don't have a lot of the vitamins vegetables have. Consulting a doctor would be the smartest choice.

  4. Maybe your mom should learn how to cook vegetables Asian style. They taste delicious cooked this way. You can find this in YouTube.

  5. There is no such thing as a person who can't eat any vegetables. The big problem with vegetables is how badly most people prepare them...and nobody wants to eat something that tastes and/or looks bad. Case in point: I have always despised broccoli...up until the moment I found a way to cook them that made them tasty(coating lightly with olive oil, then salt, pepper, and garlic powder... then grilling them. Nummies!). Keep trying veges until you find some that you might almost like...then start looking for recipes that might make them more tasty for you.

  6. Keep trying all sorts of different vegetable til you find something you like.  For the vitamins/minerals you could always take a supplement, or drink something like v8.

  7. If you taste something for thirty days in a row, there is a very good chance that you will develop *a taste* for that food.

    For example:

  8. You do not barf them out.  That's going a little too far.

  9. The answerer above had a great suggestion. You could also continuously try different vegetables. I used to LOVE pickles and green bell peppers. If you do find some vegetables you like, stick with them. As you grow older, you will enjoy more variety of them.

  10. vegetables that are cooked need to still be crispy, not mushy or soggy. Cuz then they have lost most of there nutritional value. If you want to stay healthy, they need to be crispy or raw to still have vitamins.

    Try using you favorite seasonings.

I put low fat butter and some lemon juice in my cooked brocoli.

I eat zuccini squash, i really like it. I cook it in the same thing, only in a skillet rather than boiling it.

Roasted potatoes and carrots are really good especially with gravy.

Try eating raw veggies with a small amount of salad dressing, and include fruits because they are important and at least you can enjoy part of your meal or snack.

I love raw celery with peanut butter of cream cheese on it.

Honestly, it took me time to eat veggies and fruits. I just got used to it over time. I eat them daily. So just do it LOL

  11. Hide them in your other food.  For instance, when cooking a hamburger, chop some vege's  very finely and add them to the ground beef before you cook it.  You will be eating vegetables and not even know it.

You might also try cooking them some different ways.  You might like them better.  Have you tried V8 juice?  It is kind of an acquired taste, but give it a try.

  12. Kids have 3 times the taste buds than adults. Once they hit puberty the buds get less sensitive.

Have your parents take you to a nice restaurant that doesn't do 'old style' cooking - they may actually make veggies taste great! When done by schooled chefs veggies cooked with herbs and spices accentuate deliciousness; if you're English and have been forced to eat way over boiled c**p I'm sorry for you.

There are really great tasting veggies out here!
