How can i light up the pilot light on an A.O. Smith Promax Plus High Recovery water heater?

I guess the pilot light went out last night, I really need hot water.

Help is appreciated!

there should be an ignitor button on it. turn the k**b from on to pilot then push it in. hit the ignitor button and se if there is a flame. if not repeat. then once you have a flame hold down the pilot button until for 30 seconds. if the pilot stays lit then turn the water heater to on.

Turn the gas valve to the pilot setting. Hold k**b in and push the lighter button on top of the valve. Once pilot is lit you can turn the valve to ON. Manual is attached.
