  1. skin lightening cream?

  2. I used to have a darker complexion but since I started using herbal soaps like Papaya that naturally whitens the skin I somehow had a lighter complexion now.

  3. Well if your serious about skin lightening, the best thing I could suggest for you to try is SWISS glutathione bar. It's a skin lightening soap and you just have to replace your everyday soap with it. You can use it for both your face and body. It works very well and you will immediately see the results! check out their website if you want to know more about it.

  4. Love yourself the way you are.  Chemical skin tone altering is very dangerous and might not give you the results you desire.

Play with your eye color via contact lenses.  Change your hair color.  These are easier and less risky.

Also consider this - if you could change things chemicaly how much of your body would you change?  Would you only do your face and neck?  Then your arms and legs would look mighty strange.  You would look even stranger in a swimsuit or anything a bit revealing.  A pale face and neck, but a dark and swarthy rest of the body.

You would have to constantly treat your skin with the lightening chemicals because, guess what?  Your skin is constantly replenishing it's cells.  If you bleach a layer, the new skin cells will be what they are geneticaly programmed to be - dark and swarthy.  Do you really want to put harsh chemicals on your face day in and day out?  The harsh bleaching chemicals may age you faster than you might like.  Do you want skin with the texture of leather?

    No.....please don't do it.

  5. I would agree with Chimichanga.

I'm as white as a ghost with red hair but have come to live with it.

A lot of people try and get your skin colour with a lot of money!

  6. Yeah I agree with the above comment, do some changes with your hair color, it will be a "safe" change.

Also just think of how many people out there pay thousands of dollars or countless hours in the sun to get dark skin, and you have it naturally.

  7. solution:

    1. topical - there are safe and effective skin lighteners for your purpose - papaya kojic acid soap, black licorice soap, dermaline skin whitening cream or lotion - and a high spf sunscreen.. these work well together to help you achieve the results that you want.

    2. food supplement - did you know glutathione is the best skin antioxidant supplement with skin whitening side effects?.. while cleaning up your body toxins, skin will have a rosier fairer glow.

you can do either one, or both… hope that helps your goal.

  8. Well, as a person whose own skin color resembles chocolate chip ice cream (I am a white person with freckles), I will say that the better thing to do would be to learn to accept yourself as you are.  There really isn't anything, short of chemically lightening your skin, that can give you the results you are looking for.

Look, I am descended from Native Americans as well as Europeans and at times I surely do wish my skin tone was more olive-complected instead of white with freckles.  All I can say about that is that it is what it is.  I have learned to accept myself as I am and feel good about who I am and what I look like.  I do know how it feels not to like how you look, but your skin color is the color you were born to be and you should accept it and be proud.  Many people with light brown skin tones would give anything to be darker.  Others would be thrilled to be lighter.  Either way, you were born the way you were born and you have nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about.  No matter what a person's skin tone or color, it's what's on the inside that counts anyway, and when a person is confident and self-assured, that makes them attractive on the outside.

If you are feeling insecure about your outward appearance, then rather than lightening your skin, why not go to a department store and ask for a makeover?  When you do that, the people doing the makeover will find the makeup that complements your skin the best and show you how to apply it.  You will likely be amazed at how beautiful you really are.  Celebrate your beauty - don't be ashamed of it.  We women have enough struggles these days with self-esteem based upon appearance.  Don't let something you were born with and that is nothing to feel ashamed about, rob you of feeling attractive or good about yourself.  There are plenty of dark-skinned beautiful women in this world.  Be one of them!
