How can i litirally track down a call?

i keep getting these stupid prank calls and they act soo stupid well a bunch of little kids that have a lot of growing up to do. but any idea what number i can dial to find out the private numberthat keeps calling me my cousin said *69 but that wasnt it i think.

well yeah i know that its privateso i shouldnt pick up but one of my friends number is private. so i pick up. and i dont want to change my phone number i just want to know the number that is calling.

but when i dial *69 it sound busy like a messed up phone. and they do stop calling for a while but then they start again. and again

If you are getting harassing phone calls, call the telephone company. The company can block the call and, if necessary, take more advanced action such as notifying police. For now, though, it sounds as if you're just getting nuisance calls, so the phone company should be able to stop it.

Next time they call, pick up, and then act like your talking to someone, and be like "ok, do you have the number?" Then tell them you are pressing charges for harrasment. Little kids get scared really easily.

The easiest thing to do would be to call the police.

But you should totally mess with them.

*67  *60  *65  *69or call your police dept, they will do it for you, call your phone service if you have the account details and they can do it too.

the ONLY way "LITERALLY" to trace a call, is to call phone company and they will put a trace on your number, but you have to be getting a certain amount of calls, and fill out a form. i went through this once a few years ago. They did catch them too, and it was exactly who we thought it was, my bf.s ex psycho wife!  call the phone company

call the fcc call *69 and it gives u an operator not a recording but a real person just talk to them
