  1. I would say to take it slow.  You are most likely still getting up in the middle of the night at this point and are exhausted.  Start slow and take your little one for walks in the stroller. The old adage of it took nine month to put it on..it'll take 9 months to get it off" has a lot of truth to it.  Concentrate on getting rest now.  Sure exercise is important, but a 30 minute stroller walk will keep you healthy until baby is sleeping through the night.  Once that happens, and you feel revived, go for it!

  2. give it time, your uterus would have only just returned to pre-pregnancy size. Keep up the excercices, use some toning mouisterizer and it will happen soon

  3. I am a grandmother of a 14 month old baby girl, I only had 1 child my self.  But when my daughter had her baby girl she had the same problem with the post-baby belly.  She did the same as you are doing with the diet and exercising. Still she does not have the belly she had before.  However it is getting there.  I will tell you as I told her what someone told me when I was your age wanting my flat belly back.  When you have a baby it takes 9 months to change your body and at least 9 months or more to get it back to where it was.  And your belly may never look totally like it did before.  So keep up the good work and when you get down in spirit a little from looking at you belly, look at that little bundle of joy that caused it and its seems to make it all worth while. Hope I have helped you some.

  4. Yeah, face the fact that you will never have the body you had before you got pregnant ever again. Your body has totally changed, your entire physiology has changed, you no longer have the body of a "school girl".  You have the body of a mother.

  5. I haven't done this but I am going to look into it....Weight Watchers. I have post-baby belly and I tried a diet this past week that worked for me in the past but it hasn't this time. Of course it didn't help that I cheated and had McDonald's ice coffee every day. But I know a few people on Weight Watchers who actually go to the meetings and such and they've lost a lot of weight. Worth a shot. I need to loose 15 lbs.

  6. Keep at it. It will take time, but with a good exercise routine and healthy eating habits you will be healthy and tone up a bit. It's hard to get your pre-pregnancy body back, but it isn't impossible to look good again & feel great!

  7. Oh my gosh...I just did a yahoo answers search on the same thing today...after I came home from the gym!

Here is an interesting link that I found..

Keep doing those crunches, and make sure that you're doing a wide variety of abdominal exercises...not just the crunches.  We're in this together!
