How can i make a black eye go away?

I didnt get punched, my friend accidently hit a tennis ball into my eye. But anyways, this thing is nasty, huge, and like black/purply color. My first day of school is tuesday, how can i get rid of this black eye quickly??

Ice should bring down the swelling but if it's that bad after 5 hours you are gonna have quite a shiner and there's NO WAY you can get rid of that quickly. Sun glasses and a sense of humor at how people react is really your best bet. Unfortunately, even if you didn't get punched there are gonna be people who will think you did. Does the friend who did it go to your school? Having her explain what happened would help. GOOD LUCK!

message it with some cream. and, hope for the best..hopefully by tuesday, you can put make up on it, to cover it.

Ice for the first 24 hours then warm compresses will help some. A bag of frozen peas is good when its real sore because it doesn't put as much pressure on it. But yeah, it does sound you should start getting used to the idea of having a nasty shiner for awhile. Sorry hun.
