You have to use a paint program or something. Technically you could do it with paint, but that can be really difficult. Most people use paint shop pro or photoshop but if  you're looking for something free, GIMP should work pretty well.

If you wanted, you could download trials of paint shop pro/photoshop

That takes a graphics image program and the ability to use it... otherwise... it's easy.
