  1. only by using "loaded dice"   dice with a heavy weight in the serface of the "1" face causing the dice to land heavy side downwards

by the way ,, this could be  considered cheating

  2. make every side have a six on it.

weighing one side would perhaps make it more likely to roll a 6, but it could still easily come to rest on another side.  Magnets would help... get some metal under the six somehow and roll on a table with a powerful magnet underneath.  But it'd be obvious when the die sticks to the table.

  3. Even with a weighted die you probably couldn't make it come up 6 every time, but something you could try to increase the probability of a 6 is this:

Hold the die so that the 6 is facing up, down, forward, or backwards, but NOT right or left. Then roll the die so that it rotates only along one axis--imagine it to be a wheel rolling forward, but not moving side to side. This might reduce the chaces of either of the two numbers on the side coming up, so you increase your chances from 1 in 6 to 1 in 4. Nothing's guaranteed, but it might improve your odds.

You'll notice if you go to a casino to play craps, you'll be required to bounce the dice off the wall, and the wall has bumps on it. This is designed to ensure that the die rotates on all axes, preventing this strategy from working. Some people claim they can still influence the probabilities even in a casino, but it's certainly much harder, if possible at all.

  4. there is no possible way of making a die roll a six every single time. unless you're just lucky for eternity. but i really dont know how you could do that

  5. I used to do this all the time, when rolling for D&D characters when I was a kid (it works, but it's not going to fool anyone):

Place the die on the edge of your palm, with the "1" showing (so  the six is against your palm).  Tilt your hand carefully, and let the die roll off it.  If you are careful, it will land with the "6" showing now.

Better would be to buy "trick" dice.  Unfortunately for you, most trick dice are set to roll 7 or 11 every time (to cheat at craps).  There aren't any sold which always roll 6s.

You can make your own from blank dice (sold at this link, which also has the other trick dice):

  6. For the record; the opposite sides of a regulation dice add up to 7.

    1 and 6,

    2 and 5

    3 and 4

This was in regards to the previous answer....

  7. It would be hard to *force* a regular die to roll six every time. You must weigh down the number on the opposite side of the die from the six (I believe it is a three, but I'm probably wrong).

Anyway, you'd have to weigh down the opposite side of the die.

  8. Koplow Games makes specialty dice but the company does not sell to the public directly. You have to order the dice through a hobby story or specialty shop. The comapny makes both the weighted dice (called Character Builders) and six-on-every-side dice. Catalog at www.koplowgames.com.
