How can i make a formal dress into a outfit for halloween?

i either have a silver halter, pink cocktail, or purple gown

you could add accessories such as a veil, to the silver dress or even paint yourself to look really pale and look like a ghost

It relly depends on what your into. . .

For a silver halter I would match it with a white tutu and grey leggings and a tiara and go as a princess, tooth fairy, bride, or angel.

A pink coctail dress could be matched with chunky jewlery and bangles and a fake "adult" beverage and pretend your drunk and be a party girl.

A purple gown You could be a fairy or a princess.

Last year i went to goodwill and found a black gown and shredded the bottom and bought wings and went as a gothic fairy.

Go to craft store and get some birds, bugs, etc and pin them to dress for Mother Nature.

Tooth Fairy - Make some teeth out of play dough and string them on dental floss for a necklace. Maybe you could use Chicklets gum instead for teeth.
