  1. I've tried to do that as well, but tea bags just won't make the flavor strong enough. I would invest in the powder so you can make it more potent.

I know it's not what you wanna hear!!

  2. sorry man no green tea latte but hope this helps

    thing you will need

1 1/2 inches of cinnamon stick

    1 1/2 cups of water

    8 cardamom pods

1/4 inch ginger root, thinly sliced

    Oregon chai

    2/3 cup milk

    6 tsp. sugar

    3 tsp. Darjeeling tea leaves

    Sieve

    Espresso machine

    Step1:

Create the chai tea mix by bringing to a boil in a medium pan the cinnamon stick, water, cardamom and ginger root and simmer for 10 minutes. If you have store bought chai tea mix, Oregon chai mix is best, get it out of the cupboard and skip to Step 5.

    Step2:

Add milk and sugar to chai mixture and simmer for another minute or so to give the sugar time to sweeten the mix.

    Step3:

Place the Darjeeling tea leaves in the pot before removing from heat.

    Step4:

Let chai mix steep for three minutes then strain using a kitchen sieve.

    Step5:

Fill a cup, the size of which is up to you, just over half full with chai mix or chai tea.

    Step6:

Pour milk to about 1/2 inch from the top of the cup. The milk will expand during the steaming process and this gap ensures the mixture will fit in the cup after steaming.

    Step7:

Place the prepared mixture into a pitcher and steam using the steaming setting on an espresso machine. Enjoy your chai latte.

    enjoy

  3. I prefer cold lattes so I brew mine in large quantities- a half gallon pitcher.  I fill the pitcher with water then pour it into a large pan and set it to boil.  Once it boils, shut the heat off and drop in your tea bags (for half a gallon I use between 8 and 10 bags).  After it has steeped for at least 5 minutes, use a slotted spoon to scoop the bags out and a regular spoon to gently press all of the water out of them so you get all the yummy goodness.

Then I pour the tea from the pan to the pitcher and set it in the fridge to cool.  After it has cooled (takes a few hours so I do mine overnight) you can add your milk and sugar to it, to how ever you like it to taste.

If you want it hot and don't want a whole lot at a time microwave a mug of water for two minutes, take it out and steep one tea bag for about 5 minutes.  When its done add the milk and sugar and drink.

I hope that helps, I don't have an actual recipe, just know what I do to make a drink I like.  This works really good with cold coffee too... yum i think I need an expresso latte now...
