How can i make a grind rail for skateboarding

i have bricks, hammer, nails i think, and this metal pole. its good for grinding but i want it to be able to do boardslides and all oher grinds

  1. No offense, but you probably won't be able to make anything (safely) skateable out of these materials, unless you can weld. You won't be able to hammer through the rail

    I built a square grind "rail" out of some 2x4 planks, nails, and metal sheeting, With a little wax, this made a nice practice rail. I made feet about 10 inches wide by stacking and nailing two pieces of a plank, then stacked two more longer planks on top of these in the shape of two Ts put together. I bent and hammered the sheet of metal around the planks, and used nails to attach everything. It was about 8 inches off the ground. Sadly, this got run over by a car and broken, but it worked great when I had it. It was about $10 total.
