  1. The first recipe above is great, although it says 'rum' - they forgot to say it must be WHITE (clear, colorless) rum for a mojito, not the brown stuff.

  2. 1.5 oz BACARDI Rum

    12 fresh spearmint leaves

    1/2 lime

    7 oz club soda

    2 tbsp. simple syrup

    (or 4 tsp. sugar)

For the smoothest summer cocktails, gently crush mint leaves and lightly squeeze lime in a cool tall glass. Pour sweet syrup to cover and fill glass with ice. Add Bacardi Rum, club soda, and stir your emerging mojito well. Garnish with a lime wedge and a few sprigs of mint.

    hope this helps :)

  3. There is no recipe in the Caribbean! You just smash a bunch of mint (therein lies the problem since there are so many min)t flavors) add the juice of a lime and the half or better  ie the whole dang thang---some sugar sometimes and the rum of choice. Add ice----THEN---Smash the whole thing like your life depended on it . BAM BAM BAM!

Serve it in a martini glass strained if you are in the mid-west or  somewhere in the nether-zone. Or the way it should bein all its swampy glory...with the crushed leaves and slices of lime  in the glass!

edit: balony to the above recipe ....unless you live in the mid-west...they like that kind of c**p...corporate recipes...
