  1. The pic is 100x100. If you dont know, right click on the picture, go to properties at the bottom and the size is right there.

And I would guess you could do it on Photoshop. I have Photofiltre though.

  2. The picture is 100 pixels by 100 pixels (1.389 inches square or 3.53 cm square).

I use Photoshop CS3, but I think it would be the same in Elements:

To make another picture this size,

1.) start a new file (file>>new), and set the width and height to 100 pixels, and the resolution to 72 ppi (for online/on screen use). Click ok.

2.) insert the picture you want to resize into the new file by clicking File>>>place, and then opening the pic you want to use.

    3. The pic will appear with a black box around it and grab-handles on the side and the corners. Using the move tool, grab one of the corner handles and drag diagonally in or out while holding down the shift key to resize the picture to fit the square. You can also drag the pic around with the move tool (to center it) or use the arrow keys on your keyboard to center it in the square.

    4. When you are happy with the way it looks, double-click on the black box with the move tool.

    5. Then click on Layers>>Flatten Image to get rid of extra layers.

    6. Click on File>>Save As>> Then name the file and save it as a .jpg file and you're done.
