How can i make a projector really cheap?

i want to make my own projector,,, i went on you tube and their all using lcd screens. i cant do that any ideas?

Honestly I would just buy a cheap used one off of Ebay or a local buy and sell. It will be a little more money (maybe) but will perform much better.

If you're bent on making one then you really don't have much choice other than going with a LCD panel and a light source. It's by far the easiest and cheapest way to go.
