If you want to start making websites I know a few where you can go to make your own website. On these you can either have a domain name like yourdomain.com or have your domain be yourdomain.thewebsite.com   You have your own domain without another websites.com you mostly have to pay for it. Here are some sites that can help you. http://www.synthasite.com  or  http://www.weebly.com

It's a step by step thing.I mostly perfer weebly.com because in that after your done with what you want to put on your website then you can go back to weebly.com after you've saved your website and published it (without paying) if you dont want to and it has a graph thing that can tell you if anyone has been to your website.But weebly only allows you to make 2 websites. hey,

there is no website such as yourname.com that you can have free however www.2unity.com has you choose two reasonable payment plans (you would probably choose yearly since you dont like to pay so much) in the package you get 3 things, domain name, webhosting, and site maintenance  instead of buying a domain then going to another site for hosting etc....

plus you get to choose awesome webdesigns too
